Bicycle Cart 1c

Today I added a 1/4” plywood base to the frame.  Then strapped on a large plastic tub / bin with 2 bungee cords.  I also put 4 bricks in the bin and pulled it down some rough streets and a couple of alleys.  Just to see if it would stay in place or if I should add extra cords.

Here’s the plywood base.  I can carry a number of things if I strap them down.

80 quart bin with 4 bricks inside ...

This would hold 20 lbs. of potatoes, a bunch of

canned goods, snacks, and some hamburger too.

Here’s the complete rig that I rode around town.

Pulls really easy.  I have to remember it’s back there

when I make turns.  I’m longer than just the bike.
